Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment (e.g., Reach Truck, Pallet Jack) safely and efficiently in accordance with company protocols.
- Load, unload, and stage materials and products accurately to ensure timely distribution.
- Perform daily inventory counts and maintain accurate stock records in the warehouse management system.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area to prevent accidents and ensure compliance.
- Inspect forklifts for mechanical issues or defects and report maintenance needs immediately.
- Collaborate with team leads and other warehouse staff to meet daily production and shipping goals.
- Follow all safety regulations, including wearing required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid forklift operator certification or license required (OSHA 10 preferred).
- Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse or logistics setting.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, stand for extended periods, and climb ladders or ramps.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy regarding inventory counts and safety checks.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to coordinate with the team.
- Background: Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
