Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Safely load, unload, and transport materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Inventory Management: Assist in stocking shelves, organizing warehouse aisles, and maintaining accurate inventory records.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations, wear required PPE, and conduct daily equipment inspections.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick and pack orders efficiently to ensure customer satisfaction and meet daily productivity targets.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine checks on forklifts and report any mechanical issues immediately to management.
- Housekeeping: Maintain a clean, organized, and clutter-free workspace at all times.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid forklift certification (Class A, B, or C) required.
- Experience: Previous experience operating forklifts in a warehouse setting is preferred.
- Physical Demands: Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and maneuver in tight spaces.
- License: Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record.
- Background Check: Must pass a background check and drug screen.
- Communication: Strong ability to follow instructions and communicate effectively with team members.
