Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts and material handling equipment to load/unload shipments
- Verify inventory accuracy through systematic scanning and documentation
- Maintain clean, organized warehouse spaces following 5S principles
- Conduct pre/post-shift equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflow efficiency
- Adhere strictly to OSHA and company safety guidelines
- Assist in training new team members on equipment operation protocols
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain during onboarding)
- Minimum 1 year warehouse or logistics experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail with ability to read shipping manifests
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand for extended periods
- Basic computer literacy for inventory management systems
- Reliable transportation and punctuality record
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Spanish/English bilingual skills highly valued
