Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely and efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Load, unload, and stage palletized materials according to shipping and receiving orders.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections on forklifts to ensure mechanical safety and proper operation.
- Scan barcodes and utilize RF scanners to maintain accurate inventory records.
- Organize and maintain a clean, orderly warehouse floor to prevent accidents and improve workflow.
- Collaborate with team leads to meet daily production and throughput goals.
- Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Certified Forklift Operator (valid license/certification required).
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics setting (1+ years preferred).
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to use handheld devices.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
