Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse.
- Perform daily safety inspections of the forklift and work area to ensure compliance with OSHA standards.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by counting stock and logging quantities into the system.
- Ensure the warehouse floor is clean, organized, and free of hazards at all times.
- Collaborate with team leads to optimize workflow and meet daily productivity targets.
- Follow all safety protocols regarding material handling and heavy machinery usage.
- Assist in the preparation of shipments for delivery.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended shifts.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and ticket verification.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Valid driver's license preferred but not mandatory for training.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to different warehouse tasks.
