Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and powered industrial trucks (PIT) in a safe and efficient manner.
- Load, unload, and stack materials onto pallets, racks, or shelves with precision.
- Perform inventory counts and maintain accurate stock records.
- Inspect machinery and equipment for any defects or safety hazards before use.
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA regulations strictly.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely fulfillment of orders.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of debris.
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (OSHA compliant) is required.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or logistics setting.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and documentation.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for long periods.
