Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts safely and efficiently in a high-volume warehouse environment.
- Load and unload pallets, boxes, and materials with precision and speed to meet daily targets.
- Verify inventory counts and maintain accurate stock records using warehouse management systems.
- Inspect forklift equipment for any damage or maintenance needs and report issues immediately.
- Follow all OSHA safety regulations, company policies, and standard operating procedures.
- Keep warehouse aisles organized and free of debris to ensure a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with team leads to optimize workflow and reduce downtime.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA 10/30 or equivalent) is required.
- Minimum 1 year of previous forklift experience in a manufacturing or distribution setting.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen prior to employment.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly and standing for long periods.
- Strong attention to detail, time management skills, and reliability.
- Willingness to work overtime and flexible shifts as needed.
