Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment (e.g., reach trucks, order pickers) safely and efficiently in accordance with all OSHA regulations.
- Load, unload, and stage freight accurately to ensure timely distribution to customers.
- Conduct daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts to identify any mechanical issues or safety hazards.
- Maintain accurate inventory records through cycle counts and stock reconciliation.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow and meet daily production targets.
- Follow all company policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) regarding safety and quality control.
- Keep the work area organized, clean, and free of hazards at all times.
Qualifications
- Certification: Must possess a valid forklift certification (Class A, B, or C).
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or distribution center setting.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs), and perform repetitive motions.
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to verify inventory accuracy and follow instructions precisely.
- Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment.
- Availability: Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime as needed.
- Documentation: Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
