Responsibilities
- Operational Safety: Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to move, locate, stack, and count merchandise.
- Inventory Management: Assist in receiving, checking, and storing incoming materials, ensuring accuracy in stock counts and documentation.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine pre-shift inspections and basic maintenance on forklifts to ensure they are in safe working condition.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations, warehouse policies, and site-specific safety protocols at all times.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment efficiently to meet daily productivity targets.
Qualifications
- License Requirement: Must possess a valid forklift operator license (Class A, B, or C) or be willing to obtain one upon hire.
- Experience: Previous experience in warehousing or logistics is preferred but not mandatory for the right candidate.
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, stand for extended periods, and navigate various warehouse environments.
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Background: Clean background check and drug screen required.
