Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers to load, unload, and move materials throughout the warehouse and loading docks.
- Perform daily pre-shift equipment inspections and report any mechanical issues to maintenance immediately.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by scanning items and updating warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Ensure the warehouse is organized, clean, and safe by adhering to OSHA safety regulations and company policies.
- Collaborate with team leads to fulfill daily production targets and shipping schedules efficiently.
- Handle hazardous materials and heavy loads with proper lifting techniques and equipment safety.
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA forklift certification (Class A, B, or C) is required.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable experience operating forklifts in a professional warehouse setting.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and maneuver in tight spaces.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills.
- Familiarity with RF scanners and warehouse management software is a plus.
