Responsibilities
- Picking and Packing: Efficiently select and prepare products for shipment using RF scanners and handheld devices.
- Inventory Management: Perform cycle counts and maintain accurate inventory records in the warehouse management system.
- Material Handling: Operate material handling equipment, including pallet jacks and forklifts (certification provided upon hire).
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage and ensure packaging meets company and carrier standards.
- Warehouse Maintenance: Keep the work area organized, clean, and compliant with safety regulations at all times.
- Shipping Receiving: Receive incoming shipments, verify quantities against packing slips, and process returns.
Qualifications
- Physical Ability: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Reliability: A track record of consistent attendance and punctuality.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to work effectively with the team.
- Adaptability: Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends as needed.
- Attention to Detail: Keen eye for detail to minimize errors in picking and packing.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
