Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely and efficiently to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse.
- Inspect forklifts for any mechanical issues and perform routine maintenance checks before starting shifts.
- Stack and organize products on pallets to ensure warehouse safety and inventory accuracy.
- Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies at all times.
- Assist in inventory counts and maintain accurate records of stock movements.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding shipment schedules and material availability.
Qualifications
- Valid forklift operator certification (OSHA compliant) is required.
- Previous experience operating powered industrial trucks (PIT) is preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
- Basic computer skills for logging inventory data.
