Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and move materials to and from storage areas, loading docks, and vehicles using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a hazard-free work environment.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform daily pre-shift inspections and routine maintenance checks on forklifts to ensure proper functioning.
- Inventory Control: Accurately scan, tag, and log inventory into the warehouse management system (WMS) to ensure stock accuracy.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment efficiently to meet daily productivity targets.
- Housekeeping: Maintain a clean, organized, and debris-free workspace at all times.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid forklift operator certification (OSHA compliant) is required.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating forklifts (Class 1 & 3) in a warehouse setting is preferred.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform repetitive motions.
- License: Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and safety protocols.
