Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to move, load, and unload goods safely and efficiently
- Inspect and maintain equipment daily to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety protocols
- Manage inventory tracking and warehouse organization using digital systems
- Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and meet production deadlines
- Adhere to OSHA regulations and company safety policies at all times
- Document daily operations and report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns
- Support cross-functional tasks in receiving, storage, and shipping departments
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (OSHA-approved)
- Minimum 2 years of experience operating sit-down forklifts in warehouse environments
- Strong knowledge of safety procedures and material handling best practices
- Ability to read and interpret shipping documents and inventory reports
- Physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying climate conditions
- Basic computer skills for inventory management systems
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Reliable transportation to our Harbor Drive facility
