Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain optimal temperature/humidity levels in refrigerated warehouse environments
- Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and material handling equipment for inventory movement
- Inspect and record product quality/condition during storage and retrieval processes
- Adhere to strict HACCP and OSHA safety protocols in cold environments
- Perform routine sanitation and facility maintenance tasks as scheduled
- Collaborate with team members for efficient loading/unloading of refrigerated trucks
- Utilize inventory management systems for accurate stock tracking
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months' experience in cold storage, warehousing, or refrigerated logistics
- Valid OSHA Forklift Certification or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Ability to work in sub-40°F environments for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail with inventory management accuracy
- Physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand/walk 8+ hours
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking systems
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance record
- Preferred: Prior experience with temperature monitoring systems
