Responsibilities
- Maintain precise temperature monitoring and documentation of refrigerated zones (-10°F to 40°F)
- Safely operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and cold storage equipment in sub-zero conditions
- Implement rigorous sanitation protocols including deep cleaning and sanitization of storage areas
- Inspect and verify product integrity upon receipt, storage, and dispatch
- Adhere to OSHA and FDA regulations for cold storage operations
- Coordinate inventory management using WMS systems in refrigerated environments
- Respond to emergency temperature deviations with corrective actions
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year experience in refrigerated warehouse operations
- Valid OSHA Forklift Certification required
- Ability to work in temperatures as low as -10°F for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail with inventory management skills
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly and operate warehouse machinery
- Basic knowledge of HACCP principles and food safety standards
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance record
