Responsibilities
- Load and unload materials from trailers, trucks, and shipping containers using forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Ensure all materials are stored safely and organized according to company standards.
- Conduct routine inspections of forklifts and equipment to ensure safety and functionality.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies.
- Assist with inventory counting and record-keeping as required by the shift supervisor.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth workflow.
Qualifications
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
- Physical stamina to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety protocols strictly.
- Valid driver's license (Class A or B preferred, but Class C training available).
- Basic computer literacy for logging work and scanning barcodes.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new safety procedures.
