Job Overview:
As a Forklift Operator, you will play a crucial role in our daily operations, ensuring that inventory is moved efficiently and safely. You will be the backbone of our logistics team, handling everything from incoming shipments to outbound delivery preparation.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and perform routine cycle counts as directed by management.
- Ensure all safety protocols and OSHA regulations are strictly followed at all times.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on forklifts and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize warehouse flow and meet daily productivity goals.
- Keep the work area organized, clean, and free of hazards.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant).
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to workplace safety.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
