Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse and to and from loading docks, transportation vehicles, and storage areas.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Pick, pack, and verify orders using warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Conduct regular inspections of inventory to ensure accuracy and prevent damage.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace by adhering to all safety protocols.
- Assist in inventory counts and stock rotation as required.
- Communicate effectively with team leads and logistics coordinators regarding shipment status.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or material handling is a plus.
- Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain one).
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and basic math skills.
- Valid driver's license (not always required, but beneficial).
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends.
