Responsibilities
- Accurately pack and label orders according to specifications using proper handling techniques
- Operate packaging equipment including box sealers, label printers, and automated conveyors
- Verify inventory counts and report discrepancies to warehouse supervisor
- Maintain clean and organized workstations following OSHA safety standards
- Collaborate with shipping/receiving teams to ensure timely order processing
- Perform quality checks on packed goods to prevent damage or errors
- Adhere to FIFO (First-In-First-Out) inventory rotation protocols
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous warehouse or packing experience preferred
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Valid Alaska driver's license preferred
- Ability to work in cold environments (0-40°F) with appropriate PPE
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
