Responsibilities
- Pack items into boxes or crates using appropriate protective materials to prevent damage.
- Verify that all items in an order match the packing slip and pick list.
- Label packages accurately with shipping information and barcodes.
- Maintain a clean and organized packing station to ensure workflow efficiency.
- Operate handheld scanners and warehouse management software to track inventory.
- Assist in inventory counts and stock rotation as needed.
- Follow all safety regulations and company policies at all times.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) for extended periods.
- Basic computer skills and ability to use handheld scanners.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure order accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Previous warehouse experience is a plus but not required.
