Responsibilities
- Efficiently pick, pack, and scan orders using handheld scanners and mobile devices
- Operate powered industrial equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) with proper safety protocols
- Maintain accurate inventory counts and report discrepancies to supervisors
- Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and meet daily targets
- Adhere to strict safety standards and OSHA regulations at all times
- Process returns and damaged goods according to Amazon's quality guidelines
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse efficiency
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently and stand/walk for 8+ hours
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with handheld scanning devices
- Valid government-issued photo ID and work authorization documents
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety compliance
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, climate-controlled environment
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience preferred but not required
- Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
