Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps for AI, quantum computing, and biotech integration
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen consumer and enterprise solutions
- Analyze emerging tech trends to identify disruptive opportunities and competitive threats
- Secure $10M+ in R&D funding through strategic partnerships and grant applications
- Present innovation strategies to C-suite executives and board members
- Mentor junior researchers in experimental design and ethical tech development
- Drive sustainability initiatives in tech deployment and lifecycle management
Qualifications
- 15+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ years in emerging tech
- Proven track record of launching innovative products with $50M+ market impact
- Expertise in at least two of: AI/ML, quantum computing, synthetic biology, or nanotechnology
- Executive experience in scaling R&D operations across global teams
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Published research in peer-reviewed journals or industry white papers
- Strong network with venture capital firms and academic research institutions
- Certification in Technology Strategy Management preferred
