Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology strategy roadmap, aligning with business objectives and market trends
- Lead cross-functional initiatives in quantum computing, AI governance, and climate tech innovation
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies with disruptive potential
- Present strategic recommendations to the board and C-suite with data-backed impact projections
- Build and manage partnerships with academic institutions and tech incubators
- Oversee the technology patent portfolio and IP strategy for 2026+ innovations
- Mentor senior engineers and product leads on future technology adoption
Qualifications
- 15+ years in tech strategy, R&D leadership, or futurism roles
- Proven track record in scaling technology portfolios for Fortune 500 companies
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum/AI/climate)
- Executive presence with board-level presentation experience
- Published research or patents in emerging technologies
- MSc/PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Experience with scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
- Certified Futurist (CF) or equivalent strategic foresight qualification
