Responsibilities
- Architect and execute the 2026+ technology strategy roadmap, identifying emerging trends with 5-10 year impact horizons
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints integrating quantum computing, AI ethics, and climate tech solutions
- Develop patent-pending frameworks for technology adoption in regulated industries
- Present strategic vision to C-suite and board members with compelling data-driven narratives
- Establish partnerships with leading research labs (MIT, Stanford, ETH Zurich) for co-development initiatives
- Mentor a global team of futurists, setting standards for technology forecasting methodologies
- Drive sustainability integration in all technology roadmaps, targeting net-positive impact
Qualifications
- 15+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ years in future-focused roles
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains: quantum, AGI, bioengineering, or climate tech
- Proven track record of launching industry-defining technology initiatives ($10M+ budgets)
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Exceptional storytelling skills with demonstrated ability to influence executive decisions
- Certification in Futures Methodology (e.g., Horizon Scanning, Delphi Studies)
- Published thought leadership in top-tier tech journals (Nature, IEEE, MIT Tech Review)
