Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technology trends (AI, quantum, biotech, etc.) to develop 3-5 year strategic roadmaps
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future technology adoption
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis for next-gen tech solutions
- Develop ROI models and business cases for experimental technology initiatives
- Partner with R&D to prototype and validate future-focused innovations
- Present strategic recommendations to executive leadership and investor boards
- Build external partnerships with research labs and startups in frontier tech
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D, or innovation leadership
- Proven track record in forecasting and implementing emerging tech
- Expertise in at least two of: AI/ML, quantum computing, AR/VR, or climate tech
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business
- Strong financial modeling and strategic planning skills
- Exceptional communication with technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience scaling technology initiatives in enterprise environments
- Published thought leadership in future technology trends
