Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with global market trends and emerging scientific breakthroughs
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and validating next-gen technologies (quantum computing, biotech AI, neural interfaces)
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions, government agencies, and Fortune 500 companies
- Conduct horizon scanning and competitive analysis to identify disruptive innovation opportunities
- Present technology strategies to C-suite executives and external stakeholders through compelling data-driven narratives
- Manage $10M+ innovation budgets with ROI-focused resource allocation
- Drive organizational adoption of emerging technologies through change management frameworks
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or venture innovation
- Proven track record of launching at least two breakthrough technologies from concept to market
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (quantum, AI, AR/VR, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to model complex systems and predict adoption curves
- Experience securing government grants and private innovation funding ($5M+)
- Fluency in technology forecasting methodologies (Delphi, scenario planning)
- Published research or patents in emerging technologies
