Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive technology strategy for 2026-2030 horizon
- Identify emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech integration) with disruptive potential
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align technical initiatives with business objectives
- Conduct competitive analysis and patent landscape reviews for emerging sectors
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and board members
- Manage a $5M innovation fund for pilot programs and prototype development
- Build and maintain relationships with academic institutions and research consortia
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Management, Engineering, or Business (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic technology planning or innovation leadership
- Proven track record of forecasting and implementing future-tech solutions
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (e.g., AI, blockchain, IoT)
- Exceptional data analysis and scenario modeling capabilities
- Certification in technology foresight or innovation management (e.g., CFTE, CSTM)
- Strong presentation skills with executive-level communication experience
- Published thought leadership in technology strategy publications
