Responsibilities
- Architect strategic roadmaps for emerging technologies including quantum computing and generative AI
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives targeting 2026 market opportunities
- Develop patent-pending frameworks for ethical technology deployment and regulatory compliance
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive innovations and competitive threats
- Present technology forecasts to C-suite executives and board stakeholders
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and industry pioneers
- Mentor junior technologists in future-focused methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership roles
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, biotech, etc.)
- Proven track record of launching technologies with 3+ years market impact
- PhD or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry conferences
- Experience with technology forecasting methodologies (e.g., Delphi, horizon scanning)
- Strong background in ethical technology frameworks and regulatory landscapes
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse audiences
