- Develop 3-5 year technology roadmaps aligning with market evolution through 2026
- Lead research initiatives in quantum computing, AI ethics, and next-gen biotechnology
- Forge strategic partnerships with academic institutions and emerging tech startups
- Translate complex technological concepts into executive-level business strategies
- Secure and manage R&D budgets exceeding $10M annually
- Mentor cross-functional teams on emerging technology adoption
- Present innovation blueprints to C-suite and board stakeholders
Qualifications
- MS/PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field with 8+ years experience
- Proven track record in developing 2020+ technology roadmaps
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains: quantum, AI, AR/VR, or synthetic biology
- Strong background in strategic planning with Fortune 500 or unicorn companies
- Published research or patents in advanced technology fields
- Exceptional communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience managing budgets >$5M and cross-functional teams of 20+
