Responsibilities
- Develop 3-5 year technology roadmaps aligned with market trends and business objectives
- Lead horizon scanning for emerging technologies (quantum, AR/VR, biotech convergence)
- Design proof-of-concept frameworks for next-gen solutions
- Partner with product teams to translate futuristic concepts into viable products
- Present strategic insights to C-suite and board members
- Manage cross-functional innovation sprints with global R&D teams
- Author thought leadership on future technology adoption
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership
- Proven track record in emerging technology commercialization
- Expertise in AI, quantum computing, or sustainable tech ecosystems
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Experience with scenario planning and technology forecasting
- Strong financial modeling for tech innovation ROI
- Published research or patents in emerging technologies
- Exceptional communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders
