Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with market trends and organizational vision for 2026+
- Analyze emerging tech disruptions (quantum, AI, biotech) to identify strategic investment opportunities
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, product, and engineering teams
- Establish governance frameworks for ethical AI deployment and responsible innovation
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and board stakeholders with data-driven insights
- Partner with venture capital teams to scout and integrate disruptive startups
- Author thought leadership content on technology futures and industry impact
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in emerging tech forecasting
- Proven track record in scaling innovation initiatives within tech-forward organizations
- Expertise in quantum computing, AI/ML, or biotech commercialization pathways
- Certification in Futures Thinking (e.g., WFS, APF) or equivalent strategic foresight training
- Strong analytical skills with ability to model complex technological adoption curves
- Experience presenting to executive audiences on high-stakes technology decisions
- MSc/PhD in relevant field (Computer Science, Engineering, Futures Studies) or equivalent experience
- Portfolio demonstrating technology foresight work or published industry foresight content
