Responsibilities
- Architect and execute the 2026 technology strategy roadmap aligned with market trends and business objectives
- Lead discovery and implementation of emerging technologies (quantum computing, advanced AI, bio-integrated systems)
- Establish strategic partnerships with global research institutions and tech pioneers
- Drive innovation through cross-functional R&D initiatives and pilot programs
- Present technology vision and progress to C-suite executives and board members
- Mentor senior engineers and product leads in future-tech methodologies
- Manage innovation portfolio budget ($15M+) and resource allocation
- Anticipate ethical implications and regulatory frameworks for emerging technologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or innovation leadership at Fortune 500 scale
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, biotech, AR/VR)
- Proven track record of launching breakthrough products or platforms
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Experience with technology forecasting and scenario planning methodologies
- Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills
- Published thought leadership in future-tech publications or conferences
- Fluency in innovation frameworks (TRL, Lean Startup, Design Thinking)
