Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive technology strategy for 2026-2030 horizon, aligning with business objectives
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, synthetic biology) for commercial viability
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-forward solutions
- Present strategic technology roadmaps to C-suite executives and board members
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and R&D labs for cutting-edge research
- Monitor geopolitical and regulatory impacts on technology adoption
- Manage $10M+ innovation budget with ROI-focused allocation
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Strategy, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 12+ years experience in technology strategy or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of launching breakthrough technologies
- Expertise in at least three emerging tech domains (AI, quantum, biotech, etc.)
- Certified Futurist (CF) or Technology Horizons Analyst designation
- Exceptional analytical and systems thinking capabilities
- Experience scaling technology innovations from lab to market
