Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a 5-year technology strategy roadmap aligned with 2026 market predictions
- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum, AGI, biotech) to identify investment opportunities
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align technical teams on future-state capabilities
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders with ROI projections
- Partner with product teams to integrate future tech into current development pipelines
- Monitor geopolitical/regulatory shifts affecting tech adoption timelines
- Establish KPIs for tracking strategy execution and innovation maturity
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or futurist consulting
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum/AI/biotech/climate tech)
- Proven track record of scaling tech initiatives from concept to market
- Certification in foresight methodology (e.g., CFMP) or equivalent
- Experience with scenario planning and trend analysis frameworks
- Strong executive communication with ability to articulate complex concepts
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business Strategy
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ future-tech implementations
