Responsibilities
- Strategic Roadmapping: Define and communicate a comprehensive technology roadmap for the 2026 fiscal year, identifying key emerging technologies (AI, Blockchain, Quantum) that drive business value.
- R&D Leadership: Lead cross-functional research initiatives to evaluate the viability of new technologies and prototype potential solutions.
- Trend Analysis: Monitor global tech trends, academic research, and competitor movements to anticipate market shifts and regulatory changes.
- Stakeholder Management: Present complex technical visions to executive leadership and translate technical constraints into strategic business goals.
- Partnerships: Identify and cultivate relationships with key technology vendors, startups, and academic institutions to foster innovation.
- Resource Allocation: Guide the CTO and engineering teams on long-term infrastructure investments and technology stack migrations.
Qualifications
- Education: Masterâs degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field; PhD preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in technology strategy, product management, or R&D leadership within a Fortune 500 or high-growth tech environment.
- Technical Acumen: Deep understanding of current and future technologies, including Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and distributed systems.
- Strategic Vision: Proven track record of identifying emerging trends and translating them into successful product roadmaps.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead diverse teams and manage cross-functional projects from conception to execution.
