- Develop and execute 2026 innovation roadmap through horizon scanning and trend analysis
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and scaling breakthrough technologies
- Conduct scenario planning for disruptive market shifts and technological inflection points
- Partner with C-suite to align innovation initiatives with long-term corporate strategy
- Establish KPIs and success metrics for innovation pipelines and R&D investments
- Drive thought leadership through whitepapers, patents, and industry conferences
- Manage $5M+ innovation budget across experimental initiatives and strategic partnerships
Qualifications
- 10+ years in innovation strategy, R&D leadership, or futurism roles
- Proven track record of scaling emerging technologies from concept to market
- Expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and technology forecasting
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Business, Futures Studies, or related field
- Deep knowledge of AI, quantum computing, biotech, or climate tech ecosystems
- Certification in innovation management (e.g., PDMA, CMI) preferred
- Experience managing distributed innovation teams across global markets
- Portfolio of successful innovation initiatives with measurable impact
