Responsibilities
- Analyze horizon scanning data to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026 landscapes
- Develop strategic innovation roadmaps for Fortune 500 clients in AI, biotech, and quantum computing
- Lead scenario-planning workshops for executive teams on future workforce automation and human-AI collaboration
- Author white papers and keynote presentations at global tech conferences (Web Summit, CES)
- Manage a $5M innovation portfolio with KPIs including patent filings and market disruption metrics
- Mentor junior futurists using our proprietary Future-Ready Framework methodology
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype 2026-concept technologies (neuromorphic interfaces, climate AI)
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or Innovation Management (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in corporate strategy/innovation roles with tech sector experience
- Proven track record of published trend analysis (Harvard Business Review, MIT Tech Review)
- Expertise in horizon scanning tools (TrendWatching, Futures Platform) and scenario modeling
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies: quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI
- Exceptional storytelling skills with executive presentation experience
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (ACF/SFIA) or equivalent
- Portfolio demonstrating 2026-relevant innovation projects
