Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify disruptive technologies, market shifts, and societal trends impacting 2026+ business landscapes
- Develop and maintain strategic foresight frameworks including scenario planning, trend analysis, and weak signal detection
- Translate future insights into executable strategic roadmaps aligned with C-level objectives
- Champion cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype solutions for emerging market opportunities
- Present foresight findings to executive leadership and board members through compelling narratives
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions, think tanks, and R&D labs to expand foresight capabilities
- Monitor and evaluate strategic initiatives against future-state benchmarks
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futurism, Strategic Planning, Innovation Management, or related field; PhD preferred
- 7+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or C-suite strategy roles
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and futures methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI/ML, quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts for diverse audiences
