Responsibilities
- Develop 10-year horizon scanning frameworks for AI, biotech, and quantum computing convergence
- Produce scenario-based strategic roadmaps for 2026 product launches
- Lead cross-functional workshops with C-suite executives on future-proofing organizational structures
- Analyze geopolitical and socioeconomic megatrends impacting technology adoption
- Design predictive models for ethical AI governance frameworks
- Present foresight findings to Fortune 500 partners and policy influencers
- Curate annual 'Future Forward' conference positioning Austin as innovation epicenter
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight or technology innovation roles
- Published author in peer-reviewed foresight journals or recognized futurist platforms
- Expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial strategy
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (quantum, AGI, synthetic biology)
- Experience advising Fortune 500 C-suite on long-term transformation
