Responsibilities
- Architect and execute the 2026 technology innovation roadmap with measurable KPIs
- Lead horizon scanning for emerging technologies (AI, quantum, biotech, Web3)
- Partner with product teams to integrate futuristic capabilities into commercial offerings
- Develop predictive market models for 2026 industry disruption scenarios
- Present strategic vision to investors, board members, and industry consortiums
- Manage $50M+ innovation portfolio with ROI-focused resource allocation
- Establish thought leadership through white papers, patents, and keynote presentations
Qualifications
- 15+ years in tech strategy with 5+ years in futurism or innovation forecasting
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum/AI/biotech)
- Experience leading cross-functional teams in Fortune 500 or scale-up environments
- Certified Futurist (CF) or similar foresight credential preferred
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Portfolio of published research or patents in future technologies
