Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technology trends (2025-2027 horizon) and develop strategic implementation roadmaps
- Lead scenario-planning workshops for C-suite executives on future tech disruption
- Author white papers on quantum-secure infrastructure and autonomous systems governance
- Design cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering and design teams
- Present future-tech frameworks at global tech conferences and industry summits
- Partner with venture capital arms to identify disruptive startup investments
- Establish ethical frameworks for AI deployment in regulated industries
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Foresight, Systems Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years experience in strategic technology planning with Fortune 500 companies
- Proven expertise in emerging technologies (quantum computing, neuromorphic chips, synthetic biology)
- Certification in Futures Thinking (e.g., Association of Professional Futurists)
- Published research in IEEE or Nature journals on tech convergence topics
- Experience with horizon scanning methodologies and Delphi technique implementation
- Strong network within DARPA, IEEE Future Directions, or similar organizations
