Responsibilities

- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype and validate emerging technologies with $2M+ annual R&D budget
- Partner with Stanford/MIT research labs to identify and commercialize cutting-edge innovations
- Present strategic technology forecasts to Fortune 500 clients and industry consortiums
- Drive patent strategy for proprietary 2026-focused solutions (target: 15+ patents/year)
- Oversee ethics and sustainability frameworks for next-gen tech deployments
- Mentor a team of 8 futurists and technology architects
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurism (PhD preferred)
- 12+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in emerging tech forecasting
- Published research in Nature/Science on AI, quantum, or climate tech
- Proven track record of launching commercialized innovations (e.g., AI products, quantum algorithms)
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, neuromorphic chips)
- Experience with scenario planning and technology impact assessment frameworks
- Strong network with DARPA, NASA, and global innovation hubs
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex tech to executive audiences
