Responsibilities
- Operate warehouse machinery including forklifts, pallet jacks, and conveyor systems
- Manage inventory accuracy through systematic scanning and sorting processes
- Ensure compliance with OSHA safety standards and Amazon's operational protocols
- Optimize order fulfillment efficiency in high-volume distribution environment
- Collaborate in cross-functional teams to maintain 99.9% order accuracy
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives for warehouse operations
- Maintain clean and organized work areas following 5S methodology
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year warehouse or logistics experience preferred
- Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain company-sponsored certification
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand/walk for 8+ hours
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Proficient with handheld scanning devices and inventory management software
- Strong attention to detail with error rates below 0.1%
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holiday peaks
