Responsibilities
- Maintain optimal temperature (-10°F to 40°F) in refrigerated/freezer units
- Operate pallet jacks and forklifts in climate-controlled environments
- Conduct inventory audits using WMS systems and RF scanners
- Enforce HACCP protocols for food safety compliance
- Load/unload temperature-sensitive shipments with precision
- Perform routine equipment maintenance and safety inspections
- Train new hires on cold storage best practices
Qualifications
- 2+ years experience in cold storage or refrigerated logistics
- Forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- OSHA 10-Hour General Industry certification
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly in sub-zero conditions
- Basic knowledge of WMS/RF scanner technology
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance
- Valid Georgia driver's license and clean driving record
- Availability for overnight/weekend shifts during peak seasons
