Responsibilities
- Unload incoming shipments and sort materials by destination or product type
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move inventory safely
- Verify shipment accuracy against packing lists and documentation
- Pack and prepare outgoing orders for shipping using proper techniques
- Maintain organized storage areas and follow FIFO inventory practices
- Perform routine equipment checks and report maintenance needs
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and company procedures
Qualifications
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience preferred
- Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain one
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy skills
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Reliable transportation and punctuality
- Physical stamina for 8-hour shifts on feet
- Team player with clear communication abilities
