Responsibilities
- Maintain optimal temperature/humidity levels in -10°F to 45°F storage zones
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks in refrigerated environments
- Inspect and rotate inventory using FIFO methods
- Comply with FDA food safety protocols and sanitation standards
- Document inventory movements using warehouse management systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for efficient operations
- Perform preventive maintenance on refrigeration equipment
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year cold storage or warehouse experience
- Valid OSHA forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly in cold environments
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking systems
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance
- Flexibility to work 8-12 hour shifts (day/night options)
