Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and move products within the cold storage facility using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Monitor and document temperature logs to ensure strict compliance with safety and food safety regulations.
- Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for damage or discrepancies.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Perform inventory counts and cycle counts accurately using handheld scanners.
- Collaborate with team leads to optimize workflow and reduce downtime during peak seasons.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to work in extreme cold temperatures (typically 35°F to 20°F).
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly and standing for extended periods.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to operate barcode scanners.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
