Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Monitor and record temperature logs to ensure strict compliance with safety and food safety standards.
- Load, unload, and stage freight in designated cold storage areas.
- Perform regular inventory counts and cycle counts to maintain accurate stock levels.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free warehouse floor at all times.
- Follow all OSHA safety protocols and company policies regarding lifting and equipment usage.
- Collaborate with team leads to ensure timely processing of shipments.
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (Class A, B, or C) is required.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to work in extreme cold environments (-10°F to 40°F).
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly and standing for long periods.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Must pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen.
- Reliable transportation to and from the workplace.
