Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts with precision in high-volume warehouse environments
- Safely load/unload trailers and containers using proper rigging techniques
- Perform daily equipment inspections and preventive maintenance checks
- Maintain accurate inventory records through WMS systems
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflow efficiency
- Assist in warehouse organization and 5S compliance initiatives
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA forklift certification (must be current)
- Minimum 2 years of recent forklift operation experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Forklift experience in temperature-controlled environments preferred
- Strong attention to detail and safety-conscious mindset
- Basic computer skills for inventory management systems
